Less than one month to go before the UK snowsports’ scene makes its annual pilgrimage to the freestyle mecca of LAAX, Switzerland for the British Snowboard & Freeski Championships to do battle in Slopestyle, Halfpipe, Cross and for the first time in 4 years, Big Air, presented by Picture Organic Clothing.
World-beating athletes including X-Games Gold Medallist James ‘Woodsy’ Woods, World Cup Gold Medallist Katie Ormerod and Youth Olympics Gold Medallist, Madi Rowlands will be joining other huge names such as Billy Morgan, Jamie Nicholls and Katie Summerhayes to name a few.
To use its common title, ‘The BRITS’ has always had wider appeal with a generous helping of apres and music. Featuring this year, the much talked about Famous First Words takes its sell-out show overseas, and be sure to pack your maracas for Mexican Night. Taking it into the small hours and playing live are dance act Flirtini who have graced Coachella Festival and hip-hop duo Rasmentalism.
