The key to avoiding injuries is knowing your limits, staying alert and following a few golden rules: Warm up before you ride: Cold muscles mean a higher injury risk. Stay hydrated and take breaks: Fatigue can lead to silly falls. Watch the weather: Poor visibility or icy conditions make boarding harder and more dangerous.
