Zermatt has come top in a survey of 55 (mostly German speaking) resorts in an independent survey of the ski areas carried out by “Best Ski Resort.”
The organisers collected opinions from 47,000 snow sports enthusiasts who ranked areas on 21 different criteria of satisfaction between December 2013 and April 2014. Zermatt was top in eight of the 21 categories.
“The enthusiasm for our ski resort shown by visitors is the nicest compliment and a vindication of our daily efforts,” said Sandra Stockinger, Zermatt’s Marketing and Sales Manager, at the Awards ceremony in Zurich.
