It has been mostly sunny in Italy in recent days, but it’s looking like it’ll be snowier from the middle of this week, although, as yet, the snow forecast is relatively modest in volume.
Cervina, for example, which has one of the country’s deepest bases at 3.m (13 feet) up top and is open in to May, expects 10cm of snow by the end of Wednesday.

For most Italian ski areas it has been another lovely sunny weekend however with most of the country’s pistes groomed and ready for great Easter skiing and boarding.
