Vail Resorts have announced details of their 2013-2014 Epic Pass (www.epicpass.com) – a single ticket that provides access to all of the company’s resorts in California, Colorado and even gives five days skiing in Verbier, Switzerland (up from three days this season).
Anyone planning to ski on both sides of the Atlantic for more than 6 days is likely to save and the epic Pass offers many more discounts and incentives too. The early-booking price for the pass is US$689, or around £460, with a $49 deposit required and the balance payable by September. A five day Verbier pass alone this season costs the equivalent of around £210.
Besides Verbier the Epic pass offers unrestricted skiing at Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood, as well as independently-owned Arapahoe Basin.
“We encourage all of our guests to purchase their passes now, to take advantage of the lowest guaranteed price for next winter season,” said Kirsten Lynch, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Vail Resorts.
