Chill Factore launched in November 2007, bringing the UK’s longest indoor real snow slope, a slope of 180 metres, to the North West.
The two ski lifts servicing the main slope are suspended from the ceiling, leaving more space to ski, while two travellators service the nursery slope. Alongisde this, there is a tubing slope and the snow play area. Indeed, not content with simply skiing and snowboarding, the Chill Factore offers a Luge ice slide, Tubing, snowplay and a 12m climbing wall. It is also home to many bars, restaurants and outdoor clothing shops.
Chill Factore is also home to Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK), a nationwide registered charity, providing adaptive skiing for individuals with any disability.
It’s an extremely popular indoor slope within in the UK, located less than 4 miles away from Manchester City Centre, adjacent to The Trafford Centre.
