The Ski Slopes To Yourself ?

Lots of ski resorts offer you the chance to get ‘first tracks’ on the slopes before anyone else, so long as you get up early.  In Arosa you can get the mountain to yourself all day – you just need to book in to a particular hotel on Friday, 27 November 2015.

The Tschuggen Grand Hotel in the famous high altitude Swiss resort is running its popular ‘Private Mountain’ promotion again this winter when only its guests can get out on the slopes the day before the season officially begins

Guests will have access to the slopes by means of the five-star hotel’s own mountain railway: the Tschuggen Express, operated using guests’ personal keycards, which also open the personal lockers in the hotel’s brand new hi tec ski room this season.

The ski day also offers participants the chance to join the Parmigiani Private Mountain Ski Race and special apres ski with a live DJ set.

Back in the hotel, the evening meal will be served in some rather unusual places: following an aperitif in the lobby with the director, Leo Maissen, guests are free to roam the hotel to enjoy the various courses in whichever order they choose before gathering at the bar for the dessert buffet. The after-dinner party features covers band T-NG.

The Private Mountain package at the Tschuggen Grand Hotel is priced from CHF 765 (£515)  per person for two nights or from CHF 960 (£645) per person for three nights from 26th November 2015.
