The 2024/25 winter season in Austria’s Schladming-Dachstein holiday region had a spectacular start.
International music legends Bryan Adams, Sting and Simply Red transformed the Planai Stadium into an epic stage over three consecutive nights in what was billed as “The Grand Festival 2024″.
More than 26,500 enthusiastic fans skied all day the celebrated the gigs which followed on from a two night run for the centre’s opening weekend last-year by superstar Robbie Williams (below).
The festivities kicked off on Friday with rock icon Bryan Adams, who delivered unforgettable performances of classics such as ‘Summer of ’69’ alongside tracks from his latest album.
On Saturday, Sting took to the stage to captivate the audience with his timeless hits, performed with a fresh new band.
Simply Red closed the event in style on Sunday, with frontman Mick Hucknall celebrating his 40th year on stage and captivating the crowd with soulful classics that had everyone singing and dancing.
