A new black graded ski slope will open at the ski area above Marilleva in Trentino, Italy this winter.
The slope, which is in the large ski areas also shared by and linked to Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo and Folgarida has been named Little Grizzly.
The new 810m long ski run starts from the top of Mount Vigo at 2,179m with its upper section running through a natural canyon above the treeline with gradients of up to 69.4%.
The run then enters thinly wooded slopes typical of high altitude pastures running parallel to the existing “Bear” run before ending on the gentle slope of Malga Panciana where it joins the “Sghirlat” piste 250 vertical metres below the start point at 1,929m.
