Alta Badia in the Italian Dolomites has built a reputation for its gourmet cuisine and is being ever more innovative in connecting skiers with affordable dining in the resort and on the slopes, with none of the pretention often associated with this level of dining, nor the price.
This season sees a new slant on the Slope Food concept in the region, with fourteen mountain huts taking part in a scheme to offer gourmet cuisine by showing off their best finger food ideas to lunchtime diners.
This season the food can be sampled using a Slope Food Card, priced at 30€ for three dishes accompanied by wine. You can get one dish each at three different mountain restaurants with the card.
