The 2015 winter season still has up to a month to run at some French resorts, but if you don’t think you’ll make it this spring, or have done but just want to head back, you do have the chance to ski in summer at several areas.

Tignes will run its lifts and open 20-km of summer glacier piste from  June 27th to August 9th this year, there are 20km of runs there and holders of lift passes valid 2 days or more also get free access to the Lagon swimming pool.

Les Deux Alpes lifts will run again from Saturday 20th June to Saturday 29th August 2015 between 7:15am and 12:30pm for glacier skiers.

The resort operates one of the largest summer glacier ski areas in the world with 17 lifts, 11 runs and a terrain park to enjoy.

Lift passes valid from 2-5 days also include daily admission to the resort’s swimming pool and ice rink as well as 3 toboggan run descents and an hour of free tennis.

A six day pass has the same offer but also with 6 toboggan run descents, a free golf putting session, a  free archery session, and a day of mountain biking in each of the 4 Galaxie resorts (Alpe d’Huez / Serre Chevalier / Montgenèvre / Puy St Vincent).

Summer skiing for a more limited time and on a smaller area may also be offered by Alpe d’Huez and Val d’Isere.

La Plagne and Val Thorens which formerly offered summer skiing on their glaciers no longer do so.
