La Rosière is the only Savoyard resort to offer an international skiing area. The “Espace San Bernardo” covers an area of 150km2 of groomed pistes spanning the French–Italian border. The resort is blessed with the reputation of having the one best snow records in the Northern Alps, with slopes ranging from 1200m to 2650m, with the village of La Rosière itself at 1850m.

  • Skiing for All

La Rosière is suitable for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities, and strikes the perfect balance between gentle and more technical runs, with wide, long downhill slopes to challenging blacks, off-piste, and snowparks. La Rosière is one of the only French resorts to offer heli-skiing, due to its close proximity to Italy.

Due to its location you get the opportunity to enjoy both countries fantastic cuisines, from traditional Savoyard food whilst on the French side, to local Italian dishes in one of the many mountain restaurants over in Italy.

  • Easy Access

There are many ways to get to La Rosière. For flexibility driving is great, otherwise, the resort is easily accessible by Eurostar, with direct trains from London to Bourg St Maurice, and also from London to Paris with a TGV connection. The nearest airport, Chambery, is only 1h 45mins away. La Rosière is approximately 9 hours drive from Calais.

  • Happy 50th

The ski resort of La Rosière first opened in December 1960 with one ski lift. It became an international ski resort in 1985, and in 2005 the area of Les Eucherts was created. Since then it has been transformed into a first-class ski resort. To mark this occasion in style, the resort will be laying on special events throughout the season.
