Expanded Excellence

Deer Valley’s Expanded Terrain is a long-awaited evolution that will add an additional 3,700 acres of skiable terrain, more than doubling the size of and making Deer Valley one of the largest ski resorts in North America.

Upon completion, Deer Valley will offer over 5,726 acres of skiable terrain accessed by 37 chairlifts serving 238 ski runs and the Deer Valley East Village to create a seamless mountain experience from beginning to end.

All-New Salt Lake City International Airport

In September 2020, Salt Lake City International Airport became the United States’ newest air terminal.

The just completed first phase of this USD $4 billion project includes a new terminal, a new parking garage, and portions of the two new concourses to accommodate larger planes. From there, Park City sits a mere 35 minutes away, nestled high in the Wasatch mountain range sitting at about 2,100m in elevation.

In October 2024, the tunnel from concourse A to B was completed, making the journey to B gates much easier.

Park City’s ski resorts are aligned with the city’s initiative to achieve net-zero carbon emissions and to run on 100% renewable electricity by 2030. Deer Valley Resort is currently generating 80% of its energy from solar cells, and Park City Mountain has now achieved 100%. Meanwhile, Woodward’s sustainability commitment also includes on-site solar panels producing up to 300,000-kilowatt hours of clean energy per year to power its campus.
