Verbier is set to open its ski season a full month ahead of schedule, with lifts spinning from Saturday 1 November. A recent snowfall has transformed the peaks into a winter wonderland, with over 40 cm of fresh snow blanketing Lac des Vaux.
Téléverbier and Verbier Tourism have confirmed the early opening of several slopes, declaring the 2025/26 season officially underway. The Lac des Vaux sector will be open for first turns this weekend, while Attelas–Ruinettes may follow depending on conditions.
For now, the ski area will operate weekends only throughout November, shifting to daily openings from 29 November.
To celebrate, early risers on opening day will be treated to complimentary coffee and croissants. Plus, weekend visitors can enjoy 20% off the 1-day Verbier sector pass all month long.
