La Plagne will stage its unusual Subli’Cimes family-friendly festival 10 days after Easter, this year running from 11-19 April 2018 (but excluding Sunday 15).

The concept behind the festival is to bring an unusual attraction with free activities, accessible to skiers and non-skiers alike to five summits over 1950m above the resort.

This year adrenalin-seekers should head to Roche de Mio (2700m) where they’ll find a 10m long waterslide with tubing, as well as plenty of other thrilling activities, all set to a pumping soundtrack.

Alternatively chill out at ‘Zen Altitude’ on Arpette (2,385m) where visitors can get a wellness fix at altitude with activities including hot tubs, yoga, tai chi, physiotherapy massages and active meditation.

Visitors can also experience the ice age at ‘Prehistoria’ on Rossa (2,380 m) where there’ll be a ‘mysterious ice cave’ and prehistoric-themed snow sculptures.

On Fornelet (1970m) there’s a ‘Frozen’ theme with an ice rink, a labyrinth of mirrors, ice sculptures and the chance to try an icy treasure hunt.

Finally there’s ‘Beauly & Nature’ on Grande Rochette (2,505m) with beauty practitioners, a barbershop, naturopathy treatments and even a fish spa.
