After successfully hosting the World Skiing Championships from 6 to 19 February and being at the centre of the ski world’s attention, Méribel is now in spring skiing mode.
After last year’s successful Jazz Variations Festival, the event is back on with concerts coming up on 9 and 16 March. The Jazz Variation Festival offers the opportunity to experience different approaches to Jazz, through a selection of renowned artists. With a revitalised Auditorium and a programme of regular events, make sure you don’t miss any of this winter’s exciting evening entertainment.
From 25 March to 7 April, Méribel organises the Zen Altitude Fornight, an event devoted to relaxation. Méribel invites you to experience a gentle transition into spring. The programme includes: outdoor yoga classes, meditation, cooking classes, dance classes, massages.
“Relax, recharge your batteries, and disconnect from everyday life,” advises a resort spokesperson.
Then on 2nd April, the biggest ski rally in the world, Les 3 Vallées Enduro is back. Open to all competing in teams of 3 with family or friends, there are numerous challenges located around the huge 3 Vallées ski area. You can start and end the circuit at any part in the huge area. Méribel is easily accessible from the UK by train (the closest train station is Moutiers), plane (the closest airport is Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc, but Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble are also close) and car. It’s open until 28 April 2023.
