Warren Smith and his Academy team will be touring the UK this October giving a series of Ski Technique Lab talks consisting of a lecture and a personal range test assessment at venues from Bristol to Fort William in the Scottish Highlands.

The talks will explain the link between ski technique, ski biomechanics and ski equipment precision and why getting these three elements correct and in sync is vital for ski technique development and unlocking classic blocks in skier movement patterns. This is known as the ‘3 Way Lineage.’

The talks, which are staged in Ellis Brigham stores, will start at 7.30pm each evening and will include ‘3 Way Foundation’ tests for everyone attending, giving you a chance to be assessed by the team and have your specific movement ranges identified. From this it will be possible to see what you need to do to either balance out difference between right and left side of the body or to generally improve your range

“After the 3 Way Foundation’ tests everyone will have enough information to build their own technique development program off snow and dramatically change their skiing for the better before the winter season starts,” says Warren.

Each session of talk and testing will run for approximately 2 hours and costs £8 per person. The tour starts in Glasgow on October 6th moving on to Fort William on the 7th.  Then Castleford on the 10th, Manchester on the 11th, Tamworth 12th, Bristol 17th, Milton Keynes 18th, London St Paul’s 20th, Kensington High St 21st, Covent Garden 24th then finally 27th – 30th The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Show (free as part of ticket price) ,
