Former ski racing prodigy now one of the world’s greatest tennis player Jannik Sinner has been back on snow again, this time promoting Gucci’s first skiwear range.

Sinner grew up in Northern Italy and was a very talented skier. He started on skis aged three and was winning national championships by age seven. However, at 13 he was forced to choose one sport to focus on, the rest is history.

He was back on the snow to promote the new “Gucci Altitude” range, reputedly a multi-billion Euro investment and the famous fashion house’s first ever winter sportswear collection ahead of the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics in February, the first in western Europe for two decades.

“It was a very special and unique shoot in the heart of the mountains. I have always loved the mountains and this shoot took place in an incredible setting,” Sinner, who has been a global ambassador for Florence-based Gucci since 2022, told GQ.

Along with skiwear featuring Gucci’s signature monogram, the range includes skis and helmet created in partnership with Head, famed for both its skiing and tennis gear and with which Sinner also works.
