The SkiStar Group which includes several of the biggest ski areas in Scandinavia says it has seen record business this winter.
The company, which runs Åre and Sälen ski areas and Sweden and Hemsedal and Trysil in Norway, among others, reported overnight stays up 13% on this point last year and credited international arrivals, including Brits, for the growth.
“It is extremely gratifying that we can present our best half-year result in the company´s history, thanks to the record number of skiing visitors and a particularly strong interest from foreign guests,” said CEO Stefan Sjöstrand.
