Northern Snow, a consumer ski show promoted as the North of England’s leading snowsports event, is back for its second year at Chill Factore, Manchester (which we’ve learned separately is imminently due to be renamed The Snow Centre Manchester).
Taking place on October 4–5, 2025, it’s promising an even bigger celebration of skiing and snowboarding culture. Running from 10:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday and 10:00am to 4:00pm on Sunday, the free-to-attend event offers real snow, top-tier coaching, and exclusive gear deals—making it the ultimate pre-season destination for winter sports enthusiasts.
Following a successful debut in 2024, Northern Snow 2025 expands its offering with more brands, more coaching, and more immersive experiences. Attendees can expect coaching sessions and talks from Olympians and professional athletes, skills clinics led by top UK coaches, and the chance to test and buy the latest gear from leading brands including Burton, Salomon, Oakley, Head, and Bollé.
The event also features discounted lift passes, expanded group lessons, and holiday inspiration from travel providers like Neilson Holidays and Crystal Ski Holidays. Alpine Street and the Mezzanine will host retail deals, while The Lodge delivers après vibes with food, drink, and live music.
“Northern Snow is truly a unique event—offering an experience on real snow, which sets it apart from other snowsport shows,” said Ian Brown, Managing Director of Chill Factore and The Snow Centre. “We’ve already got more brands on board this year, which shows the strong momentum behind the event.”
John Robinson, Head of Marketing, added, “Snowsports are incredibly popular in the North of the UK, and we’re excited to provide this opportunity for our community to come together. With only one snow show in London this year, we wanted to make sure the North didn’t miss out.”
Northern Snow offers brands a powerful platform to engage with a passionate audience—whether through face-to-face interaction or digital outreach. From first-time learners to seasoned riders, the event caters to all levels and interests.
