Hakuba Norikura Onsen Snow Resort is located in Otari Village. It’s one of the best choices in the Hakuba Valley for powder snow and has a good mix of terrain with about a third each of its runs suited to beginners, intermediates and experts. Although a mid-sized resort with 16 runs and a 700m vertical, the longest 2.5km (1.5 miles), it has a joint lift ticket and lift connection to neighbouring Cortina, to increase the choice. Of course, the full Hakuba Valley area lift pass also covers both centres and the other eight too.
Hakuba Norikura Onsen Snow Resort is popular for its powder snow skiing and also have some lovely tree-skiing areas. They boast one of the best slopes for beginners, making it an ideal destination for families with children or groups of mixed skill levels. As its name suggests, the resort also has a wonderful onsen so is a great choice for a powder ski and then a lovely soak in the hot springs bath.
Hakuba Norikura Onsen Snow Resort is home to the excellent ski-in, ski-out The Alps hotel at the foot of the slopes featuring 160 rooms and the AQUA OASIS where you can enjoy apres ski with outdoor heating pool, sauna and jacuzzi.
