ABLE Hakuba Goryu, named after the mythical “five dragons” of local folklore, boasts sunrise and night skiing, offering the longest ski hours in Hakuba. Connected to the Hakuba 47 Winter Sports Park with a joint lift pass, it provides access to one of the largest ski areas in the valley. Over a third of its terrain is rated for experts, featuring challenging courses like the Expert and Adventure Courses, tree skiing, and backcountry options (best explored with a certified guide).
Intermediate skiers can enjoy 40% of the resort, with runs up to 5km and a 926-meter vertical drop. Beginners have 25% of the area dedicated to easy terrain, such as the Toomi Zone and Iimori Area, known for their welcoming atmosphere. The Alps Daira Zone, accessible by gondola, offers stunning views and diverse runs, including the gentle Panorama Course for novices.
ABLE Hakuba Goryu caters to all skill levels with features like Goryu Waves, Bumps, and Park, offering natural banks, moguls, and freestyle options.
