Thanks to Scott Hammond at Hafjell Ski School for bringing us this Hafjell snow report from the morning of 1 February 2018.
The popular Norwegian resort, just outside Lillehammer, has had a great amount of snow over the last few weeks, which is making for some awesome skiing conditions both on and off piste. Hafjell also offers night skiing, conditions for which are also currently great, even after the slopes have been skied on all day.
The next few days are forecast to be bright and sunny, perfect for making the most of that fresh powder! However, this does not mean warmer weather. Temperatures will be low, with highs of -14 degrees and lows of -19 (with wind chill) on Saturday, so be sure to wrap up warm if you’re heading out on the slopes in Hafjell.
