A new platform, Guidezone, where skiers and climbers can book IFMGA-certified mountain guides across multiple Alpine destinations has launched.

“Booking a mountain guide has long been a challenge. Guides can be difficult to reach and agencies often make the process complicated. With Guidezone, we make it simple and accessible in more ski resorts, so more people can ski better and safer off-piste,” says Jacob Hallberg, founder and CEO of Guidezone.

Guidezone offers off-piste skiing with local mountain guides – from lift-accessed freeride to short hikes in search of the best descents. Each day is tailored to the group’s level, preferences, and, most importantly, where the best snow is.

On the Guidezone website, customers can easily see the price of the day, what’s included, and what to expect. Once booked, they are connected with their guide via WhatsApp to share preferences, ask questions, and coordinate practical details.

At launch, the platform is live in more than ten resorts across France, Italy, and Switzerland, including some of the Alps’ most popular destinations, such as Chamonix, Verbier, and Zermatt, with over 100 mountain guides signed up. The service aims to expand fast each season.
