A new partnership between Jaguar Land Rover and La Plagne ski resort in the French Alps has resulted in the launch of a thrilling driving experience for visitors.

The activity is the latest in an ever-growing list of non-skiing/boarding adrenaline sports offered at La Plagne, which also include zip wires and descending the 1992 Olympic Bobsleigh run.

“Fun Zone Jaguar” provides the chance to get behind the wheel of a four-wheel drive Jaguar F-TYPE SVR on a special ice circuit, with a professional instructor, to drift and slide in exhilarating driving conditions.

The new opportunity was launched by Formula 1 star Romain Grosjean.

“The driver put on quite a show as he got behind the wheel to show onlookers how it’s done!” said a resort spokesperson.

The experience is available free of charge to those who want to try it, from 10am to 4pm daily from Sunday to Friday from 5 February to 5 March.

You have to be at least 28 years old to take part. la-plagne.com
