This ski season, ski chalet holiday package company, Ski Beat, say they’ll be shipping out nearly 100,000 tea-bags to the French Alps for guests staying in their slope-side chalets.

The company’s Laura Hazell explains “We source local French wine, cheese, craft beers, and as many consumables as possible locally, but when it comes to tea, there’s nothing to beat a good English cuppa.”

The company also treats its guests to the great British staples of HP sauce and Marmite, which can be found in Ski Beat chalets throughout the season.

Laura continues “The concept of a ski chalet holiday is a very British invention, booking a home-from-home chalet on a room-by-room basis, with a host to prepare meals, take care of the guests and the chalet. While we aim to limit food miles, and are respectful of the environment, we also make sure our guests don’t miss out on their home comforts.”

Ski Beat’s first guests arrive on 13th December 2025, with the last departures on 18th April 2026, and a week’s stay in a catered chalet costing from £784pp, based on two sharing a double or twin ensuite room, and including cooked breakfast, afternoon tea with home made cakes, three course evening meals with wine, return flights and transfers.
