Every four years, up to 2,000 snowsports instructors from up to 36 skiing nations around the globe get together to share practices and set instruction standards at the Interski (International Meeting of Snowsports Instructors) congress. The next event is in St Anton from 15th to 22nd March.
Representing UK ski instructors is the BASI (British Association of Snowsports Instructors) Interski DEMO Team, made up of the cream of British ski instructors including Alain Baxter, Mark Jones, Amanda Pirie and Andy Freshwater.
When the team take to the slopes of St Anton for the 2011, they will be demonstrating their techniques using Salomon X3 RC CS boots and Salomon Equipe 3V skis.
