An Elevated Alpine Experience Rooted in Sustainability, Wellness, and Culture
Tucked beneath the snow-capped majesty of Mont Blanc, the alpine and spa resort of Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc is preparing for a transformative winter season in 2025/26. With sustainable innovation, revitalised infrastructure, and a strong cultural program, the resort continues to evolve while honouring its rich heritage.
Easy Arrivals and Greener Choices
The Valléen and Alpin gondola system, introduced in late 2024, connects the Saint-Gervais Le Fayet TGV station to the ski slopes in just 15 minutes. This seamless link is proving essential in encouraging low-impact travel and making the mountain more accessible for everyone.
New this season, guests arriving by train can enjoy a 10 percent discount on day lift passes for the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area. A valid train ticket dated the same or previous day must be shown at the gondola ticket office to receive the offer.
Upgrades on the Slopes and Family Comfort
The Princesse gondola, which connects Demi-Quartier to Mont d’Arbois in ten minutes, is now operating under new long-term management. Improvements include expanded snowmaking capacity on the Prapacot slope and a redesigned car park to improve arrival experiences.
Le Bettex welcomes L’Embuscade, a new family-friendly restaurant offering warm, welcoming dining just off the slopes. Visitors will also benefit from a new indoor picnic area and a ski locker zone, both especially convenient for those arriving via public transport.
Thermal Spa Tradition Meets Modern Wellness
Saint-Gervais remains the only French Alpine resort where thermal spa experiences are part of daily life. This winter introduces new treatment options including mini-cure wellness packages and direct access to treatment rooms. Designed to be both therapeutic and restorative, the new treatments require no follow-up care and focus on dermatological and respiratory health.
A New Cosy Refuge at Altitude
Located at 1,800 meters between Saint-Gervais and Megève, Le Refuge Chez La Tante opens its doors this winter. This intimate alpine hotel features 20 inviting rooms, wood-fired cuisine at restaurant Chez la Tante, and a spa complete with an indoor pool. It offers an ideal setting for a peaceful and scenic escape.
A Cross-Cultural Connection
Saint-Gervais Mont Blanc’s new twin partnership with Yamanouchi in Japan’s Nagano region highlights a shared commitment to environmental care, spa heritage, and liveable mountain communities. From 27 March to 10 April 2026, the first Franco-Japanese Festival will bring workshops, exhibitions, traditional performances, and Japanese gastronomy to the Alps.
Recognised for Sustainability
Saint-Gervais has earned two Flocons Verts (Green Snowflake) certifications, a distinction awarded to only eleven ski resorts in France. The resort has also received the 2025 Mountain Tourism Award for its Zero Carbon Mountain achievements, further cementing its leadership in sustainable alpine tourism.
