OVO Network Expands Alpine Chalet Collection for 2025/26 with New Resorts and Luxury Properties
High-end chalet specialist OVO Network has unveiled a major expansion for the 2025/26 ski season, adding 50 new properties and introducing two picturesque resorts—Saint Martin de Belleville and Les Contamines—to its growing Alpine portfolio.
Known for its focus on authentic, lesser-known destinations, OVO Network already operates in charming mountain villages such as Le Grand Bornand, Samoëns, Manigod, La Clusaz, Combloux, Saint Gervais, Châtel and Notre Dame de Bellecombe. The latest additions continue the company’s commitment to showcasing the quieter side of the Alps, where traditional architecture and year-round community life take precedence over glitz and glamour.
“We don’t do the big, glitzy resorts,” says Chris Thompson, director of OVO Network. “Instead, we focus on places that reveal the unspoilt, authentic charm of the mountains—villages that offer great skiing, but also have life beyond the lifts. This year we’ve expanded into two new resorts and brought in many additional chalets, each hand-picked to offer premium facilities and high-end Alpine style.”
The new chalets sleep between four and 15 guests, bringing the total number of properties on the OVO Network site to 214. Among them are beautifully renovated “chalets d’alpage”—once rustic mountain shelters for shepherds, now transformed into romantic escapes that blend Alpine tradition with contemporary design. One standout example is Chalet Sideflip near La Clusaz. (pictured top)
While OVO Network has long catered to larger groups, the introduction of smaller chalets marks a shift towards more intimate stays. “These small chalets offer something very special for couples or small families,” adds Thompson. “Their history as working mountain huts, combined with the fabulous renovations done by the owners, gives them a unique appeal.”
For those seeking true seclusion, the company has also expanded its collection of hideaway chalets in remote mountain hamlets. Properties like Grand Mazot La Chandelle in peaceful Bionnassay, near Saint Gervais, offer a chance to disconnect from daily life while still enjoying access to world-class skiing.
Financial flexibility is another key focus this season. Following a successful trial last winter, OVO Network has rolled out Koala Flex across all properties. The travel insurance partnership offers guests a 90% refund on cancellations made up to two days before arrival, providing added confidence to book early.
Family travellers are also well catered for, with the popular Cool for Kids programme now extended to 81 chalets for winter 2025/26. Properties such as La Ferme des Artistes near Les Gets and Chalet Les Pellys near Samoëns come equipped with everything from bottle warmers and cots to PlayStations and pool tables—making family holidays easier and more enjoyable.
Gastronomy is another highlight this season, with OVO Network supporting local chefs like Valérie Germain, who crafts chalet meals using fresh mountain ingredients. The company also celebrates the culinary prestige of nearby Lake Annecy, home to 13 Michelin stars—more than any other lake in Europe.
Finally, OVO Network continues to strengthen its ties with local communities. New partnerships with the tourist offices of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand ensure its chalets are featured on official reservation platforms, while a collaboration with Haut-Giffre aims to raise year-round awareness of the domain.
