Group Booking Gets a Whole Lot Easier with Skiworld and ‘make it social’

Skiworld have today announced the launch of their new innovative online booking application for groups, developed with group booking specialist ‘make it social’, now live on their site.

With 33% of skiers in a recent survey saying they book ski holidays with friends, the online app embedded in the Skiworld website, offers an innovative and streamlined way of getting a group together. The app also allows members of the group to pay individually, meeting the needs of anyone organising a ski holiday with a group of friends or family.

The App:

• Quickly see the prices for different sized apartments depending on the size of ski group
• The ‘make it social’ booking system is fast and mobile optimised
• Friends/family can be invited to the group via text message or email directly
• The group members can see a clear overview of accommodation and resort in the invite
• The group leader can easily add more members to the group as people agree to pay or opt out
• No need to chase payments as everyone in the group can pay separately
• The group leader and rest of the group can see who is going on the trip

This booking platform has gone live and is set up for all apartments in Skiworld’s European resorts. With prices starting from £293pp, including self-catering accommodation, flights and transfers; people should take advantage of these fantastic prices.

So how exactly does it work?

1. Find the perfect ski apartment through Skiworld.co.uk
2. Scroll down to the price grid and click on the ‘Book with friends’ option.
3. Create a ski holiday group, and from here, invite friends by email or text message (SMS) directly.
4. Pay deposit pre-authorisation, which will trigger invites to the friends. They can then attend or not and the group leader can see exactly how the group is coming together.
5. They have a couple of days to pull the group together.
6. Friends that are attending will then provide their card details. The money is only pre-authorised and won’t be taken until the entire group says they’re in.
7. Once the group has all accepted and paid deposits, the payments will be processed, and Skiworld will then check the apartment is still available and confirm the ski holiday booking as soon as possible.
