The European Outdoor Film Tour is coming of age! Since its inception in 2001, the European Outdoor Film Tour has been presenting handpicked documentaries featuring outdoor sports, adventure, and travel. Over the last 18 years, the people, their incredible journeys, and the locations have changed, but one thing remains the same: This is real!
This year’s program is now complete, and a new trailer provides an exclusive look at what you can expect.
A definite highlight of this year’s tour is the portrait of the exceptional talent and this year’s ‘poster boy’ Adam Ondra. The Czech climber ascends the most difficult routes in the world and seems to effortlessly overcome gravity. He is a truly extraordinary athlete, who exhibits acute mental strength by scaling an 8a—blindfolded, a journey portrayed in the film ‘The A.O.’ But that’s not all, of course. Tom Belz, on crutches and with only one leg, ascends the highest mountain in Africa.
From the world of snow sports, Victor de le Rue and Pierre Hourticq take on the steep and challenging descents of Chamonix, France. Whether on a snowboard or skis, narrow crevasses, vast icefields, and wind speeds of up to 60 km/h might not sound inviting but these guys bring a whole lot of fun to proceedings. And because there is still time to build a kicker, a shovel is a necessary part of these guys‘ freeride equipment.

As usual, the E.O.F.T. also has a lot to offer for devotees of flowing MTB trails, the finest powder, and high levels of adrenalin. There is also some comic relief with a stop-motion animation, a road trip on rollerskis through the USA, and a somewhat crazy Frenchman, who demonstrates that one can still be young even at the age of 82.
