The historic ski resort of Montgenèvre sits right on the Italian border. With a good snow record, the resort is the only French resort in the Milky Way ski area, with access to over 400km of piste. Montgenèvre’s own ski area spans both sides of the valley, the South Chalvet-Serre Thibaud sector and the north Chalmettes-Gondrans-Eagle area.
