Some spectacular snow buildings have appeared on the slopes of Beitostølen ski resort in Norway.
Carved out by professional ice sculptors from the city of Harbin in North East China, the snow sculptures at Beitostølen took the team 12 days to create.
Harbin is home to the world’s largest indoor snow centre, is the main city in a Chinese province that is home to more than 100 ski areas, and hosts a famous festival of ice sculptures every year.
Here a whole city is made with solid castles, churches, bridges and much more. Everything is carefully done by some of the world’s best ice sculptors.
The sculptures at Beitostølen are located by the resort’s slalom slope and include famous Norwegian buildings, Viking ships, animals like bears and elk and other local characters.
