The skiing here is an experience you won’t want to miss. The slopes are renowned for being delightfully quiet, offering something for everyone—from gentle, pristine runs perfect for beginners to challenging, some lovely long cruising runs of up to 2.4km, lovely gladed skiing through woodland and of course some adrenaline-pumping black diamond trails. However, your ride up is fast and comfortable with a modern gondola, the only one on Canada’s Atlantic coast and installed as recently as 2021, whisking you up to the top of more than 1,000 feet of vertical.
As you glide down, you’re treated to spectacular ocean views, a feature that sets this location apart from nearly every other ski destination. The snow conditions are exceptional too, with the mountains typically blanketed in six metres (20 feet) of natural snowfall each season. It’s a truly unique spot that’s sure to impress and earn you some serious bragging rights among your ski-loving friends.
