After Andrew Musgrave’s famous win in the Freestyle Sprint at the Norwegian Cross Country Ski Championships in January, he has gone on to claim the title of overall Norwegian Champion after 5th place in the 50km race in Gålå, Norway last weekend.
After claiming the title, Musgrave, who lives in Trondheim commented: “Even if I take Norwegian Citizenship I’m not going to change, I intend to continue to beat the Norwegians”.
Andrew Young finished 35th in the same race and was right up with the pack until the last 10km when he began to fade. He commented afterwards that it was a “shame the race didn’t stop at 40km.”
