Blow The Bonus: Chalet N

There are luxury ski chalets and then there are ‘out of this world’ luxurious ski chalets, and Lech’s Chalet N is definitely in the latter category.

Along with being one of the world’s most truly luxurious and inevitably expensive ski chalets, N also has the twin distinctions of not being located in Courchevel 1850 or Val d’Isère and of having the shortest and arguably coolest name in the luxury chalet market.

The chalet is situated at an altitude of 1660m in Oberlech, providing a stunningly picturesque view of the world-famous Arlberg Massif, which is directly accessed by a private ski lift.

Chalet N provides accommodation for 22 guests. Having a master suite, eight more suites and even a special children’s suite set up the bath products from Bulgari kids. All bedrooms come with exquisite bed linen, mattresses made of down and feather and a very stylish bathroom adorned with a full-size Hermés shower complete with Swarovski beaded shower curtains. There are also 3D TVs and guests can choose their own movies via a media hub, or just take in the view from their suite’s private balcony.

Inevitably Chalet N has an incredible spa complete with ice fountain, hay sauna, Finnish sauna and salt gallery steam bath. For those who like immersing themselves in the perfect water experience, there is also a gorgeous indoor pool landscape, completed by an outdoor Jacuzzi.

There’s a double treatment room with double or single massage beds, a private hair stylist, a relaxation area and steam showers. In addition, the chalet’s Health Club offers a wide choice of the latest fitness equipment including resistance training, cardiovascular and free weights. To complete the facilities there’s a billiard room, library, cinema and an extensive wine cellar.

But there’s more. Chalet N takes personal service to an even higher level than the norm found in most luxury chalets. You’ll find, for example, that your initials have been monogrammed onto your pillowcase prior to your arrival and pictures of your loved ones are already in place in the chalet (assuming you’ve let the team know who your loved ones are), to ensure you feel at home right away.

The price includes the services of a dedicated chalet team – your chalet manager, concierge, butler, chef and chauffeur. You’ll enjoy a champagne reception on arrival, daily breakfast, lunch and dinner. There’s an open bar with spirits, beers and soft drinks and complimentary house champagne, fresh flowers, private airport transfers from Munich, Innsbruck and Zurich airports, a 24-hour private chauffeured 4×4, fresh flowers, ski rentals, a lift pass and a 50-minute massage for every guest.

“The entry price is high, but once through the door you will want for nothing. Whether ‘luxury’ to you means exploring one of the finest wine cellars in the Alps, eating the finest food we’ve ever eaten in a chalet, sleeping on a personally monogrammed pillow or enjoying all of these luxuries behind bullet proof glass, the chalet and the service are as good as it gets!” said Mark Gibbins, Managing Director of The Oxford Ski Company which can organise your holidays there.
