Big Bear Mountain in California reported moisture in the air at the weekend – the picture above was taken on Saturday 18th, November, 2017.
So far however it has been too warm for any natural snowfall and too warm to run snowmaking equipment.
Target opening day is Friday, December 1st, 2017, but currently there’s no sign of any major weather change in the forecast.
Hopefully though it won’t be long until conditions look like this again from last season:
