It’s largely great conditions across Austria with plenty of fresh snow this week and more forecast.
In fact the country probably got less snow that its neighbouring big three Alpine ski nations with some areas only reporting 10-15cm of fresh but on the whole conditions are good and some resorts have had as much as 60cm of fresh cover.
Much of the snow arrived over the weekend although it has kept snowing, on and off, since.

Unusually the south east of the country has done particularly well with Bad Kleinkirchheim and Nassfeld posting 50cm+ accumulations. Traditionally when this area gets snow the Northwest of Austria, where most of the big ski area are, doesn’t get so much and that looks to be the case again this time.
However as most already had good cover and still enjoyed a bit of fresh snow on top, conditions on the slopes are good across the country.
