Everyone from beginners to experts are both welcome and well catered for in the Aosta Valley where the snowfall is normally abundant and there are slopes for every ability.

With 20 individual ski resorts to choose from, together offering over 800 kilometres of slopes, all included on a single international electronic ski pass for direct access to all runs, there’s plenty to choose from.

Every type of skiing is offered here from downhill skiing or snowboarding to cross-country, mountaineering or off-piste freeriding, the Aosta Valley is the ideal winter sports destination. Freestyle skiers and boarders will find no less than 10 snow parks to cut loose in.

The options range from major international resorts like Breuil-Cervinia on the Italian – Swiss side and La Thuile which access a ski area that stretches between Italy and France, to the challenging skiing offered by resorts like Courmayeur and Monterosa (Champoluc and Gressoney), to family friendly resort of Pila with its direct gondola linked to the Roman town of Aosta itself in the valley below.

Whichever you choose you’ll be guaranteed a great time on the snow slopes of the Aosta Valley.  Enjoy and soak up the clean air of the mountains, regenerating your mind and body.
