Then this winter is the time to try Ski Méribel (skimeribel.co.uk), a direct overnight coach service from Blunham in Bedfordshire, London Victoria Coach Station and Dover which has been perfecting its service for over 20 years and offers really good recliner seats with foot and leg rests. Pillow bolsters and car rugs are supplied.
The service costs from £99pp one way, £149pp return and goes to central Méribel but stops at Moutiers rail/bus station for those who need to change to other resorts like La Plagne, Tignes, Les Arcs, Val d’Isère, Val Thorens, etc. There are stops at Les Allues, Méribel Village and sometimes Mottaret, and a transfer to La Tania is offered for a £10pp supplement.
There’s a Friday afternoon service from England with secure parking available if required in Blunham and Dover. It returns from Méribel at 17.30 the following Saturday, so it’s 8 days in resort.
