Skicolor Returns

After the great success of the first edition, Skicolor, the event which sees skiers and boarders sprayed in coloured powder paint as they descend the ski slopes, returns to the French resort of Les Gets on Saturday 12 March.

Skicolor Returns
Skicolor combines skiing and partying around the theme of colour. Equipped with protective suits, participants follow a funpacked trail, specially developed for the slopes of Mont Chéry, passing through cascades of multi-coloured powder paint as they descend. The goal is to cross the finish line looking as colourful as possible. Along with the Skicolor descent itself, there is entertainment, a live DJ and, as a bonus, a sumptuous view of Mont Blanc.

Skicolor Returns
The world premiere of the event on snow at the end of last winter saw over 800 people taking part, and the resort expects many more to sign up and take part in 2016. Different online registration packages are available, with prices ranging from €6 for children to €10 for adults. Participants can collect their pack including their protective clothing from 8am, then go skiing, before joining a collective warm-up on the starting line in the specially created Skicolor Village, which will be prepared at the top of the Mont Chéry ski lift.
