World Junior Freestyle Championships
This week saw the start of the World Junior Freestyle Championships in Valmalenco, Italy where nineteen British athletes were in action. In the men’s moguls, Thomas Gerken Schofield topped off his hugely successful season taking two silver medals in the moguls and dual moguls. Thomas’ sister Makayla Gerken Schofield also did well taking 4th place in the moguls and 12th in the dual moguls. The other results were: Will Feneley 27th and 35th (duals), James Rose 32nd and 25th (duals), Sam Jones 33rd and 39th (duals).
In the Ski Slopestyle, Connie Brogden put down the best result of the British competitors, finishing in 12th place and in the men’s competition, Kyle Jenkins finished in 35th, with Tom Greenway in 40th and Justin Taylor Tipton in 43rd.
Today sees the men and ladies Ski Cross With Emma Peters and Ollie Davies in action fresh from their wins at The Brits. They will be joined by Alannah Lawrie, Claire Winthrop, Zoe Winthrop, Finlay Davies, Matthew Ray and Laurence Willows.
The BRITS

Delancey British Alpine Children’s Championships
The Delancey British National Alpine Children’s Championships wrap up today in Tignes, France. After a hugely successful Senior & Junior Championships the previous week, the younger athletes having been battling out for the British titles all week.

World Rookie Tour
Action started this week at the World Rookie Finals in Zell am See/Kaprun where six GB Park and Pipe snowboarders have been in action. Amber Fennell and Luca Mai Lane Hopkins came 24th and 26th respectively in the ladies Slopestyle Qualifiers. British Speed Skiing
British Speed Skiing star Jan Farrell returned from Vars, France where he clocked a time of 231 kmph and will now travel to Grandvalira, Andorra for the final Speed Skiing World Cup of the season. Action starts today and runs through to Sunday.
British Nordic
British Nordic skiers were in action at the Norwegian Championships in Gaalaa. Andrew Musgrave finished an impressive 7th in the Men’s 10km Free, and Andrew Young in 13th. Young then went on to finish 24th in the 50km Classic.
