La Datcha will be Val Thorens’ first eco-friendly luxury guesthouse, and one of Europe and the world’s highest ski area accommodations when it opens this winter.
Due to open in early 2017, La Datcha has been built 2,300m up on the slopes above Europe’s highest resort using innovative, eco-friendly building techniques.
La Datcha is a five-floor luxury chalet featuring energy consumption management, insulation, draught-proofing, wastewater treatment … in fact, the entire chalet has been built to minimise its environmental impact as much as possible.
The chalet features five bedrooms, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzi, cinema room, gym, games room and golf simulator, and there’s an in-house chef and team to cater to the guests’ needs.
