Later this month the Chill Factore indoor snow centre near Manchester will host the FIS (International Ski Federation) European Indoor Mogul Championships and British Mogul Championships for the second year in a row, organised by National Governing Body Snowsport England.

World-class athletes from Austria, Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the UK will descend on Manchester on 17th and 18th September, with their extraordinary skills on the custom built moguls course expected to wow the crowd at Chill Factore.

After the success of the inaugural European Indoor Mogul Championships in 2014, Chill Factore is continuing its commitment to nurturing and showcasing the world’s best moguls talent

Athletes to look out for at the competition include rising national moguls star Will Feneley who will be competing for Great Britain. The talented all-rounder, who also competes in the Park and Pipe discipline, is currently training in Australia, and will return to the UK in time for the big competition.

The action kicks off on Thursday 17th September at 11am with both singles and dual moguls competitions, with day two of competition running on Friday 18th September also from 11am.

“Chill Factore has a proud tradition of nurturing young snow sport talent, so it’s a huge honour to host the FIS European Indoor Moguls Championships for the second year in a row,” said  Morwenna Angove, CEO at Chill Factore,

“We’re looking forward to welcoming some of the best moguls skiers to Chill Factore again and we wish all of the competitors the best of luck, particularly our sponsored racers who’ve come up the ranks here in Manchester.”
