Conditions are largely very good across Austria after ski areas got 10-30cm of new snow at the weekend to freshen up cover.
Although the biggest snowfalls of the past week were reported in the western Alps, Austrian areas still got more new snow and base depths are looking fairly healthy across the country, with 1-2m on upper slopes and 30-60cm of cover in resort at most areas.

The latest snowfall also reached the previously dry-all-winter south eastern corner of Austria which was good news for resorts like Bad Kleinkirchheim which had previously been relying on snowmaking.
The Hintertux and Kaunertal glaciers got the biggest snowfalls and the latter reports the deepest snow in the country at 2.5m.
A relatively dry week ahead is forecast with just a few small snow showers.
