A fairly snowy week in North America after little fell the week before this, and there’s also plenty more snow in the forecast as we enter spring and head towards April.

In the US the biggest snowfalls (up to 50cm in the past few days) have reported in the west in Colorado, Utah and Oregon, with smaller but still significant falls in California where Mammoth’s base still remains at an amazing 8.4m on upper slopes.

There’s been some snow in the East too and it was snowing again in Vermont on Friday, as we see below.

Ah… springtime. ❄ bit.ly/mtnreport

It has been a fairly snowy week in Canada with up to 50cm of fresh snow reported (at Whistler) and most areas reporting at least some snow.

There have been grumbles that it has been too warm at times, even though it is now spring, but pretty much all Canadian resorts are looking good for the rest of the season with deep snow bases – as much as 4m at Mont Ste Anne in Quebec.
