Verbier is staging a mountain clean up today, and will rewarded the first 200 registered volunteers with a free day’s lift pass.
The clean up day is being organised by Swiss-based environmental group the Summit Foundation in conjunction with Verbier 4 Vallées.
All participants will meet at 8.45am at Le Châble or 9am at Médran and will be welcomed with a coffee/croissant.
After the “happy hardship” of cleaning up, everyone will be invited to the sorting and traditional weighing of the garbage, followed by an aperitif.
