If you fancy something a little different on your ski holiday why not sign up for the Mad Snow Race taking place on 21st January 2018 at Les 2 Alpes ski resort in the French Alps.
This 5km (3.1 mile) obstacle course is back for its second winter after 118 people took part in the first competition earlier this year.
The course will take you over moguls, climbs, descents, sliding zones, crawling under nets, climbing up a rope net, through poles, over a field of tyres, navigating a labyrinth and more. There’s also the opportunity to jump onto a giant airbag and then crawl across it.
The race starts at 10am at the Palais des Sports in Les 2 Alpes and must be completed by 1.45pm
This new challenge is open to the general public, and can be tackled as an individual, in teams or as a family, and completed either walking or, if you’re feeling energetic, at a jog.
Les 2 Alpes is one of France’s biggest resorts, has a snowsure glacier which is open from summer and autumn skiing, and has one of the world’s biggest lift served verticals.
