Crystal’s New Family Ski Holiday Guide

Crystal have created a new online guide for families taking ski holidays – the Family Guide to the Mountain.  It appears to be particularly aimed at first time families and seeks to answer many of the questions and unknowns for parents taking their children to the slopes for the first time.  The company has also launched some limited-time Family Christmas holiday discounts.

There’s a lot of practical advice in the new guide, much of it not ground breaking for those already experienced in family holidays, but for first time families there a lot more information than usual on what happens in nursery and ski school for children including exactly what happens in a typical day.  There’s also reassuring first hand comment from people working as ski teachers and nursery staff, as well as from happy customers.

The guide looks at the pros, but unsurprisingly none of the cons of travelling at Christmas, New year, February Half term or Easter but does not get in to tricky areas like taking your children out of school to take advantage of lower prices away from these peak periods.

The guide has a very modern digital design, especially well-suited to touch screen, hand held devices. But while the flashy graphics may make the sceptical fear its more design over substance, there is in fact a lot of useful, practical information in it.

It’s not really a guide on how to take your family skiing on a limited budget, although there area few huints that you mighyt save monedy by renting gear if you can and a link to the company’s latest special deals.

But Crystal have announced a special launch offer to coincide with the Guide’s launch:  £75 off per booking on family ski holidays departing Christmas or New Year 2015 for bookings made by 6 July 2015 using voucher code MERRY.

The company also has 100’s of free child places across all European destinations for Christmas departures.
