Aspen Announces Lower Teen Pricing and New “Kids Ski Free” Programme

To encourage the next generation of winter enthusiasts, Aspen Snowmass has announced it’s lowering teen rates next winter to match that of children 12 and under, as well as offering a new “Kids Ski Free” programme.

Aspen previously offered teen pricing for children aged 13 to 17, but the child rate will now run from age seven to 17 on most package deals. Children aged six and under continue to be able to ski free at Aspen Snowmass (no strings attached).
To qualify for the free child lift pass, children (aged seven to 12, not up to 17) need to rent children’s ski or snowboard equipment from Four Mountain Sports to receive their free lift ticket. There is no limitation on the amount of days children can receive free lift tickets when renting from Four Mountain Sports. However, these must be booked as part of a package through the travel trade.
In addition, children receive 30% off Child Group Lessons with Aspen Snowmass’ Ski & Snowboard School when purchasing seven or more days on most low-season dates – so long as they book before 28 February 2016, or book by 30 January for arrivals after 1 March 2016. The offer is valid all season, including over Christmas, except the two peak weeks of 26 December 2015 – Dec. 31, 2016 and 7 to 13 February 2016. Again these must be booked as part of a package through the travel trade.
